The Aero Pro Cobalt cutter and its matched thinner share the same aluminium-cobalt alloy, the same 36-gram weight, and the same handle balance. Use one, or pair them as a full kit — this is the Juntetsu flagship, in both expressions.
Convex, offset, mirror.凸刃・段違い・左手
Convex edge.Hamaguri-ba
Every Juntetsu blade is ground to a convex — the hamaguri-ba, named for a clam shell's curvature. It slices where a flat-bevel scissor crushes. Sharpening must be convex-matched or the edge is ruined.
Offset handle.Dan-chigai
Thumb ring set forward of the finger ring. Shoulder stays down, elbow drops, and the cut finishes before the tendon notices. Standard on every flagship line.
Left-handed.Hidari-te
Not a reground right-hander — a full mirror. Blade lay, bevel, screw thread, and finger rest reshaped from scratch. Available on select editions — please enquire.
